Summer Camp for Kids have been cancelled
Parent Zen - This class is for caregivers and their little ones ages newborn to 5 years. The goal of this class is to introduce very young children to Yoga, give caregivers and children a time to bond and last, but not least, to give caregivers of young children a time and a place to have fun and relax. These classes are separated by age of children.
Little Yogis - This class is for children ages 3 to 5 years. This class teaches young children how to love learning through play, how to focus and how to just chill out. Parents do not participate, but are invited to the last 5 minutes of each class for song time.
Young Yogis - This class is for children ages 6 to 10 years. Children are already feeling the stressors of eveyday life by this age. Yoga helps them learn to love exercise, increase focus and to destress.
Teen Yoga - This class is for children ages 11 to 15 years of age. A great non-competitive, way to aid mental and physical health for children in this demanding stage of life. The amount of stress placed on teenagers in our society is incredibly high. Teens and tweens will discover new tools to cope with stress and find fun ways to increase focus and reconnect with themselves.
Family Yoga - A class for families with children ages 5 and up. Come spend time together, get moving together and find some peace together. Appropriate for all levels.
Adult Classes
Sunrise Yoga - This early morning class will focus on awakening our bodies, minds and hearts to prepare for the day. Sun salutations, heart openers, balance poses and a morning meditation will help you approach your day with a brighter perspective. 45 minute class
Level 1 - This class will spend 90 minutes increasing strength, focus, balance, breath and flexibility. The first series Astanga poses, a quick pace, time for individual practice and a meditative savasana will comprise this class. Appropriate for beginners who want a challenge and those familiar with yoga.
Gentle Yoga - This class will work on deep stretching, restorative poses and an introduction to Astanga poses from series 1. This 90 minute class will have a comfortable pace and is appropriate for all levels.
Private, Semi-private adult, children and families classes available. Also available for parties, school and after school functions, home school groups and Girl Scouts.
