began practicing yoga in 2002 to improve his posture and breathing. He fell in love with the practice almost immediately and knew early on that he wanted to teach. Before long, Mark achieved his initial goals and moved into an ever-deepening practice. In 2005 he began teaching, continuing his training with some of the most celebrated teachers in the Anusara community. She was a touring musician in the UK which resulted in subtle injuries which led her to explore the benefits of yoga therapy. She decided to study at Loyola Marymount, which resulted in a certificate of YT and a 500-hour teacher training qualification.   
She is also a graduate of Immerse Yourself, 200 hr training at Mockingbird yoga with Steffany Vance.

Liz finished her Level 1, 200 hour cert. at Yoga Yoga in ‘03 & did her prenatal training w/ Gurmukh Kaur in ‘04. This training prepared her to teach w/ pregnant & parenting teen girls. Liz was able to use her Radiant Child training to teach in LA schools with "at risk"children through Krishna’s programs. Liz is in love with children’s ability to access their inner warriors! Liz feels fortunate to have the opportunity to teach regularly again & pass on the Kundalini teachings she loves so much!

Christopher is a certified (200hr RYT) yoga instructor in the Anusara School of yoga.  Teaching an alignment based class, students experience slow flow with strengthening elements.  He has also completed immersions in Vinyasa Flow and Iyengar styles.  Additionally, he mentored with teachers focused on yoga for men, specifically Rad Kaim.  He regularly teaches meditation, having completed a teacher immersion with Sally Kempton. He continues to work as a digital marketer and e-commerce strategist

Rebecca began yoga class in 2001 in Denver, CO where she was attending graduate school. Yoga became a regular part of her fitness routine to stay healthy and centered. This continued after she moved to Los Angeles in 2002. She had developed the desire to expand her practice and to teach when she found Mockingbird Yoga in 2016. It was love at first sight and she now calls Mockingbird her yoga home. Rebecca received her 200 hr certification through the Immerse Yourself & Advanced Training

Allie's classes focus on the breath and the clarity it brings to body and mind. She honors traditional asana, breathing, and sequencing. Remembering how to listen to what our bodies need is one of the wonderful fruits of yoga, and something she wants each of her students to take away from the practice.

Stephanie is a mindful, alignment teacher who is playful and aware. Having students grow and expand at their pace along with offering engaging poses sets Stephanie heart on fire. She is a Certified Massage Therapist which allows has given Stephanie a depth of knowledge of how the body moves energetically as well as muscularly

Yoga found Courtnay in ‘03 on a life-changing trip to S. India. She is passionate about exploring aspects of life that bring joy and wonderment and she strives to share this passion with others. She incorporates this philosophy into her yoga & meditation practice, encouraging students to embrace & nurture the natural creative flow that lives within us all. Courtnay is a graduate of Steffany’s Immerse Yourself 200 hr training

She has been trained by the gifted Christina Cross to read and work with the energy of the Akashic Records and now teaches this modality herself. She has also been trained in Kuruna Reiki, Tera Mi Reiki, and All Love or SKHM. She is passionate about continuing to create her own thriving, magic filled, life and helping others to do the same!

Jigna received her 200 hr training through Immerse Yourself at Mockingbird Yoga. She got into yoga after 10 years of doing traditional Indian dance. Jigna is working on expanding her practice & developing herself as a yoga teacher. By day, she is a software engineer constantly challenging her intellect, voice & personal growth. She now works at Walt Disney Animation Studios hoping to bring joy & inspiration to the youth & formerly worked at NASA Jet Propulsion Lab on actual Mars rover software
